Upcoming Event - Showcase of the 80s

Showcase of the 80s is a three race challenge that will  run during the August break

between Rounds 11 and 12.

It will run over three consecutive weeks and is set to embrace the raw horsepower of the 80s era cars.

This is a separate challenge to the regular season, so a separate point scoring table will be used and 

AI points will not be included in the standings. The winner will be crowned  "Champion of the 80s"

Race details:

4th of August - Estoril Circuit

11th of August - Imola Circuit

18th of August - Brands Hatch

F1 Fact: The above classic circuits were all used in the 1986 F1 season.

1986 Team Lotus 98T – Mario Andretti & Emerson Fittipaldi
1988 Ferrari F1-87/88C – Gerhard Berger & Michael Schumacher

1988 Williams FW12 – Nigel Mansell & Damon Hill

Online Details:

Classic 80s races are limited to 10 players on any one server.
Depending on numbers will may need to run 2 sessions.

Due to the Austrian track not being available in F1 2013, we have decided to substitute Spielberg with Circuito de Jerez. Arrow88 has provided the below link to give an overview of the circuit.
